The IEM-2020 is easy to use, with front panel programming on a large LCD display that is fully functional from -40 to +70C. 11.24.2009 - Basler Electric releases BESTWAVEPlus COMTRADE Analysis Software
BESTWAVEPlus is a high-resolution graphical analysis interface designed for the display, analysis and management of fault files in the standard IEEE COMTRADE file format. It includes the ability to read and view all COMTRADE files generated in any relay, meter, or digital fault recorder regardless of manufacturer.
The analytical interface offers a full range of flexible analysis tools for navigating traces, amplitude and time scaling, superimposing traces, peak detection, instantaneous and RMS values, primary and secondary values, phase calculations, sequence components, channel triggers, and waveform envelopes. The file management portion of the program provides the necessary means to merge files, append files and adjust for time synchronization of multiple records.
BESTWAVEPlus may be used for real time monitoring of evolving load abnormalities, dynamic relay testing, contingency planning, and intelligent maintenance applications.
An evaluation version of BESTWAVEPlus is shipped with each BE1-11f, BE1-11i, BE1-11g, BE1-GPS100, BE1-IPS100, BE1-1051, BE1-951, BE1-851, BE1-700V, and BE1-700C.
10.12.2009 - How to Select the Appropriate Basler Electric BE1-50/51B Model
Basler Electric produces a number of equivalent time overcurrent relays designed to replace existing GE-type IAC and Westinghouse-type CO time overcurrent relays. The BE1-50/51B relays provide a more versatile product than the ones to be replaced, because of the combination of connections, time overcurrent ranges, time characteristic and instantaneous overcurrent ranges available.
Basler's latest Application Note PC-5051B02, explains how to select the appropriate BE1-50/51B model for IAC or CO replacement. It includes a table of the most popular IAC and CO characteristics and their equivalent BE1-50/51B characteristic switch selection position, as well as information on time overcurrent settings, reset characteristics, instantaneous overcurrent settings, connections, and case sizes.

5.23.2009 - Trimm, Inc. announces High Current Power Distribution Unit.
This family of power distribution panels go up to 600A per side and use either fuses or breakers. You can also use the optional Smart Meter Module to monitor the voltage and amperage being used on each bus. The Smart Meter Module can use remote temperature sensors to monitor the temperature in two different locations. All of this information is displayed locally and can be monitored remotely.

1.29.2008 - BE1-11f Feeder Protection System Announced
Basler Electric has announced its latest product, the BE1-11f Feeder Protection System.
The BE1-11f is a feeder protection system that includes user-configurable protective functions to meet basic and extended protection requirements for any feeder circuit. It is available in a fully drawout half rack case.
The BE1-11 family will offer many additional protective functions, plus enhancements in recording size and number of records, programmability, a larger display, and new communications capabilities. Additional members of the BE1-11 family will be released throughout 2009. This product family features Basler's industry leading BESTCOMSPlus configuration software.
The new BESTLOGICPlus adds logic capabilities that allow users to apply BE1-11 relays in a much wider variety of applications than previously available to Basler relay customers.
